Brief Description of Quilt (25 words)
o Yes, make my quilt available for sale during the time it is on display at the Walla Walla Valley Quit Festival, Walla Walla Fairgrounds. Only show quilts and challenge quilts will be offered for sale. The selling price is entered below. I understand that the Festival will deduct a 25% consignment fee should my quilt be sold. The balance (75% of the selling price entered below) will be sent to me within 30 days of the sale of my quilt. The price I wish to offer my quilt for sale is: $ .00.

PLEASE READ AND SIGN:
· I understand that items submitted will be displayed for public viewing and that every reasonable care will be taken to protect items from damage or loss. Walla Walla Valley Quilt Festival (WWVQF) assumes no liability/responsibility for any loss or damage by any cause.
· Insurance is NOT provided. I will check with my insurance agent for coverage through my household insurance policy.
· WWVQF reserves the right to refuse quilts to be shown that require special handling. Included are quilts with fragile embellishments, rolled or not to be folded, special hanging apparatuses and/or frames, etc.
· WWVQF will not be responsible and may not accept containers, special cases, or covers that are submitted with quilts.
· I give permission to the WWVQF to photograph and/or videotape my quilts for advertising, promotion of show or other lawful purpose.
I have read the rules and agree to them upon entering my work. If I have entered a price in the box above, I agree to the consignment conditions as stated.

GENERAL INFORMATION
· Registration entry form(s) must be received via email or postal by August 31, 2012.
- Your entry form will be acknowledged via email or postal.
- One entry form for each quilt entered in the show.
- Items must have a CLOTH LABEL with a minimum of the quilter’s name, city, state and title of the entry. Label must be firmly attached to the back of the quilt (paper labels are not acceptable).
- All entries for the Quilt Show must be delivered to Walla Walla Sew ‘n Vac and Spas, 102 E. Main St, Walla Walla, WA. between September 6th at 9:30 am and, 8th at 4 pm, 2012.
- Late enteries will not be accepted.
- Quilt(s) must be picked up Sunday, September 16th at the Walla Walla Fair Grounds starting at 6:00 PM till 7:30 pm.
- You must have your quilt receipt ticket to present at time of pick-up in order to claim your quilt.
GUIDELINES FOR QUILTS TO BE SHOWN AT WWVQF SHOW
- You may enter four quilts (does not include challenge or block). However, WWVQF retains the right to select from your entries those to be shown.
- Two categories for quilts being shown
- Large quilts = perimeter greater than 200” Small quilts = perimeter 200” or less
- Quilts larger than 96”x96” may be folded to fit on display racks.
- The design of your quilt may be original, traditional or a combination of old and new. If the design is based on another design you have seen, please acknowledge the original quilt maker.
- Your quilt must consist of top, batting, and backing. It must be fastened together with machine quilting, hand quilting, or ties.
- Your quilt may be pieced and/or appliquéd, and embellished in any way.
- The quilt can be of any shape, but the combined total of all sides of the quilt cannot be less than 72 inches nor more than 160 inches (for example, an 18” X 18” quilt equals 72”; a 40” X 40” quilt equals 160”). A round quilt cannot have a diameter greater than 40 inches.
- Hanging sleeve is optional.
- You may use any fabric(s) of your choice. The choices should reflect the theme of the Challenge, “Lucky 13."
- Challenge quilts will be judged on appropriateness to theme, workmanship, creativity, design and use of color. The decision of the judge(s) will be final.
GUIDELINES FOR BLOCK CHALLENGE ENTRY
- Using the Block Challenge fabric, create a quilt block measuring 12½" x 12½" (finish block size 12x12)
- The winning block will be determined by the votes of the people.
- The winner will receive ALL the blocks!!!
- Fabric $1.50 and postage is included.
